The community guidebook for Minecraft. Player-written how-tos, builds and tips - free, forever.
Free Minecraft Guides for Every Playstyle
The goal has always been simple - make it easier to be good at Minecraft. Every guide on LegionMC is written from real in-game experience. We test what we write. We play what we cover. And we explain it the way a friend would - directly, without assuming you already know everything. Whether you just picked up the game last week or you've been building since the Alpha days, there's something here for you. We don't recycle wiki entries or pad things out. Every guide aims to be practical and accurate, written by people who genuinely love the game.
What We Cover
LegionMC publishes Minecraft how-tos, tutorials, and guides across eight categories:
Minecraft News and Updates
When Mojang drops a snapshot or a major update ships, we cover what it actually means for players - not just patch notes, but how the changes affect your world. Cave generation tweaks, mob behavior shifts, revised crafting recipes, new biomes, new blocks - we break it all down in plain language so you can understand what changed and get back to playing faster. If something in the game stops working the way our guides describe, we update the guide. Getting it right matters more than getting it out fast.
How It Started
LegionMC launched in 2017 at a time when good, free Minecraft guides were genuinely hard to find. The search results were full of outdated wikis, abandoned forum threads, and YouTube videos with ten minutes of intro before you got any actual information. We wanted something different - a straightforward, well-organized place where players could find accurate answers without wading through noise. The site started as a small collection of notes from our own sessions: workarounds we had to figure out the hard way, farm designs that actually performed, redstone circuits that didn't break every update. It grew from there. Nearly a decade later, the core mission has never changed. If you're curious what LegionMC looked like in its early days, you can browse the archive on Wayback Machine.
Why Free, Forever
We don't believe Minecraft knowledge should sit behind a paywall. The game itself is about creativity, experimentation, and discovery - and so is this site. Everything on LegionMC is free to read, share, and use. No subscriptions, no premium tiers, no guides locked behind an account. The Minecraft community made us better players. This site is how we give that back.
